About WP Repair Men
We repair WordPress sites for people who need the problem solved, the price explained, and the result checked.
We started fixing other people’s WordPress sites in 2006, when a broken site often meant editing files over FTP late at night. The tools are better now, but the human part is the same. Something stopped working, somebody is worried about it, and the site needs to do its job again.
WP Repair Men is an independent repair service, not a large agency. There is no sales handoff followed by an account manager followed by a stranger doing the technical work. The person who picks up the incident stays responsible for the diagnosis, repair, and explanation.
You will not be handed a stack trace and expected to make the decision alone. We explain what failed, what the repair changes, and what remains uncertain in ordinary language.
Repair work begins with a recoverable copy. When a change is risky to test on the live site, it is tested on a copy first.
You see one flat price before work starts. Monthly care is available, but it is optional and does not replace honest incident pricing.
Logs, timing, symptoms, delivery tests, and repeatable checks are better than a pile of generic fixes. We work from the evidence the site provides.
Shop owners, tradespeople, restaurants, dentists, charities, consultants, and other small organizations often call after building or inheriting a site that nobody is actively maintaining. They do not need a new digital strategy. They need the form to send, the checkout to work, the malware warning removed, or the dashboard to open.
Designers and agencies also send overflow repairs when a client problem falls outside the design work. We stay behind the scenes when requested, do not poach the relationship, and return a clear repair note.
If the honest answer is that the hosting should be changed, a plugin should be retired, or the site would cost less to rebuild than to keep patching, we say that too. Sometimes the right diagnosis does not create a repair invoice.
WordPress sits on PHP, a database, a web server, DNS, TLS, scheduled tasks, email delivery, themes, plugins, and third-party services. The visible symptom may begin in any one of those layers. A contact form can be correct while DNS authentication is wrong. A plugin can appear broken while PHP is stopping it. A slow page can come from the database rather than the images.
That is why the service is organized around incidents instead of products. The job is not to install the tool we happen to sell. The job is to find the layer that failed, make the smallest safe repair, and show that the business task works again.
Twenty years and more than 2,400 repaired sites have made the pattern familiar without making the diagnosis automatic. Familiar problems still deserve current evidence from the site in front of us.
Tell us what you see and what the site should be doing instead. That is enough to begin.
