Optional WordPress maintenance plans

Small monthly checks that catch WordPress trouble early.

Monitoring and backups can run quietly in the background. You receive proof that the checks ran and a clear warning when something needs a person.

$10/month

Essential Site Checkup

For a small brochure site that needs a basic safety net and a record of what was checked.

  • Daily uptime check
  • Weekly database backup
  • Monthly restore-point check
  • Monthly update inventory
  • Plain-English monthly report

Repairs are not included. If a check finds hands-on work, you receive the evidence and a separate price first.

$20/month

Automated Site Care

For a business site that benefits from more frequent backups plus routine security and performance checks.

  • Daily database backup
  • Weekly file backup
  • Uptime, update, and security checks
  • Monthly restore-point check
  • Monthly performance check
  • Plain-English monthly report

Repeated failures are flagged. A failed automated task does not get hidden as a successful report. Repairs and recovery are quoted separately.

Why the monthly price can stay small

The repeatable checks are automated across many sites. The plan pays for monitoring, backups, and proof that the scheduled work ran. It is not an unlimited promise to repair anything that breaks.

What WordPress maintenance is for

Know when the site goes down

Uptime monitoring checks whether the public site responds. An alert is useful because a small business owner should not have to discover an outage from a customer.

Have a recent recovery point

A backup matters only if it exists when the site fails. The plans check database and restore points on the schedule listed above instead of assuming a hosting promise is enough.

See update and security risk

The reports make pending updates and routine security checks visible. They do not silently apply risky work or turn every update notice into a paid emergency.

Spot a pattern before it becomes a crisis

Repeated downtime, backup failures, growing response time, and recurring warnings are easier to address when they are recorded instead of forgotten between incidents.

Monitoring is not the same as repair

A monitoring system can report that a site is down, a backup failed, or an update is available. It cannot honestly claim that the cause was diagnosed and repaired unless a person did that work and verified the result.

When a check finds a real problem, we explain what was found and quote the repair separately. You remain free to approve it, use another provider, or handle it yourself.

Which monthly WordPress care plan should you choose?

The $10 plan is the lightest useful baseline

Choose Essential Site Checkup for a brochure site, professional-services site, or small local business site where the main need is outage awareness, a recent database backup, and a monthly record of pending updates.

It is intentionally narrow. File backups, ongoing security checks, and performance checks belong to the $20 plan.

The $20 plan adds broader recovery and health signals

Choose Automated Site Care when the site changes more often, carries more files, collects leads, or would be harder to rebuild. Daily database backups, weekly file backups, and recurring security and performance checks create a better record when something begins to drift.

Neither plan includes unlimited manual repair. That boundary keeps the price clear.

Common care-plan questions

Will updates be installed automatically?

The listed plans include an update inventory and monitoring. They do not promise that every plugin, theme, PHP, or WordPress update will be applied without review. A risky update can create more work than it prevents.

What happens when a backup or check fails?

The failure is reported rather than counted as a successful run. If recovery or hands-on repair is needed, you receive a separate explanation and price.

Can I cancel the care plan and still request a repair later?

Yes. One-time repairs do not require an active monthly plan.

Not sure which plan fits?

Tell us what the site does and how costly an hour of downtime would be. We will tell you whether $10, $20, or no monthly plan at all is the sensible answer.
